Digeratii began as a small digital consultancy serving Fortune 500 clients.

Our experience in helping these clients achieve superior results in their digital optimisation and transformation journeys, as well as our previous experience as serial entrepreneurs, has led us to begin another chapter in the Digeratii story: digital marketing.

Which is exactly what marketing is: selling the story behind the brand; the why behind the product.

And among the ‘cadre’ of tools at a marketer’s disposal, we believe that social media is one of the most powerful and yet elusive mediums available to craft those narratives. In the digital age, as Scott Cook (founder of Intuit) says: “A brand is no longer what we tell the consumer it is – it is what consumers tell each other it is.”

That sounds like a challenge. And it’s one with a particularly large payoff for those who get it right. As Investopedia notes: “With the help of social networks as a ‘force multiplier’, viral marketing is quicker than traditional marketing campaigns, as well as less expensive.
